These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, software, and AI voice receptionist services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Ring Automations ("Ring", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you register. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
2. The Services
Ring provides an AI-powered voice agent that answers calls to a phone number associated with your business, handles caller intake, books appointments into your calendar, sends SMS confirmations, and routes certain calls to a number you designate. Features vary by plan. We may modify, improve, or discontinue features over time.
3. Plans, fees, and billing
- Paid plans consist of a one-time setup fee plus a recurring monthly retainer that includes a set number of AI-handled minutes, as described on our Pricing page.
- The setup fee is billed once, at the start of onboarding. The monthly retainer is billed in advance each billing cycle and renews automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes; applicable taxes will be added where required. Fees are in US dollars.
- Enterprise and custom plans are governed by a separate written agreement or order form.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation, billing, and refund details are described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Place or facilitate calls or messages that violate telemarketing, robocall, or consumer protection laws (including the TCPA);
- Transmit unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or deceptive content;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or circumvent usage limits of the Services without our written permission.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Services — including any call recording — complies with the laws of the jurisdictions in which you and your callers are located.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the business information, scripts, and call data you provide or that is generated through your use of the Services. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to operate and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation except as expressly stated in a written service-level agreement. Telephony and AI components depend on third-party providers.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The AI agent may occasionally misunderstand a caller; you are responsible for reviewing important outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ring will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ring from any claims arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that risks harm to us, other customers, or third parties. You may stop using the Services at any time.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Services. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
